Mel and Mal's Spaghetti Bolognese

Ingredients

Always an absolute favourite and it must be the most eaten Italian dish ever!

I suggest that you use my Bolognese All-Purpose Meaty Sauce and just add the pasta of your choice - in this case it is spaghetti but you can use any pasta you like

Serves : 4        Prep/Cooking Time : 15 mins

Tip : Add a little oil to the boiling water when cooking your pasta as this stops the pasta sticking together and to the bottom of the pan!

Instructions

In a large pan of boiling water, add a little salt, a dash of oil and add the spaghetti, giving it a little stir

Let it bubble away for approx 10 minutes - some dried pastas are quick cook versions so always best to check the cooking time as instructed on the packet.
Same with fresh pasta.

Once cooked, drain thoroughly, give it a rinse whilst in the colander with boiling or hot water from the kettle - this gets rid of all the excess starch.

You can serve with the meat sauce on top of the pasta or mix it together, your choice but make sure you have some parmesan to sprinkle on top!
